Where is Vegan Sausage Fest?

The festival takes place at Breese Stevens Field — a historic outdoor venue in downtown Madison, WI.

Is there an admission fee?

Nope—it’s completely free to attend!

What food options are available?

Expect a wide variety of vegan sausage creations and sides — including:

• Classic and creative plant-based sausages

• Gluten-free options

• Vegan sides and desserts

• Home-made beverages

Local vendors will offer diverse plant-based cuisine throughout the event.

Will there be other vendors?

Vegan Sausage Fest has variety of merch and informational vendors along with local farm sanctuaries sharing the work they are doing in the community.

Is there bike parking?

There is bike parking accessible on E. Mifflin Street and N. Paterson Street. There is also a bike valet located just inside Gate 8 on E. Mifflin Street.

The ‘Lectric Bike Valet features: Vertical Bike Racks provided by Saris; Vertical Bike Parking Options (with Additional Ground Parking); E-Bike Charging Stations, a Self-Service Bike Repair Station, and will be monitored by a VSF volunteer.

Parking

We highly encourage attendees to bike or utilize B-Cycle, public transportation, BRT, taxi cabs, Uber or Lyft.

We recommend parking at the South Livingston Street Garage. There is no dedicated parking lot at Breese Stevens Field; nearby paid ramps and street parking are available in downtown Madison.

Which gate will be open for Vegan Sausage Fest?

GATE 1 (E. Washington Ave & N. Paterson St.) will be open and is ADA Accessible.

Which Metro bus goes to Breese Stevens Field?

Breese Stevens is serviced by Rapid Route A, Route B, Route C, Route D. The Breese Stevens Field website has more information regarding using the Metro Transit.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No outside food or beverages are allowed, with exceptions for:

• Sealed water bottles

• Medically required food/drinks

All attendees are encouraged to enjoy food from our vendors.

Is alcohol available at the event?

Breese Stevens Field will sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in their concession area. They are a cashless facility, meaning that they are unable to accept cash as a form of payment at any/all points of sale. They accept Gift Cards, Credit, Debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Can I bring chairs or blankets? What about a cooler to take food home?

Breese Stevens Field policy restricts large personal chairs — small folding chairs and blankets are allowed in designated areas. Chairs must sit no higher than 12” off of the ground. Tailgate and camping style chairs ARE NOT allowed.

Breese Stevens Field has a strict bag size policy, but you’ll be allowed to bring a cooler in if you’d like to take food home to enjoy later. You might be asked to show the items in your cooler as you leave the venue.

Can I bring a water bottle with me and will there be a water refill station?

You’re allowed to bring in one factory sealed water bottle up to 32z or reusable water bottle. Breese Stevens Field might have you empty out the water at the entrance and refill it inside the stadium. A working, public water fountain can be found outisde the restrooms located under Section 104.

Are pets allowed?

Service animals are allowed. But sadly, you’ll need to leave your pets at home this year.

Will there be activities for kids?

There will be a variety of activities for kids! More information to come once vendors are announced.

• Illegal substances

• Cooling units beyond approved sizes

Venue staff reserves the right to refuse prohibited items.
